New memorabilia added to John and Ringo's solo years rooms
After working your way through The Beatles' life as a group in our exhibition you'll eventually find yourself in the 'solo years' section of our exhibition. John, Paul, George and Ringo each have their own separate room/booth which pays tribute to their career, achievements and life after the breakup of The Beatles.
We have added new memorabilia to both John's room and also Ringo's.
In John's room we've added three 'radio wires' from the night of John Lennon's death. The original AP bulletins were received by radio stations in the aftermath of the shooting the first announces the uncertainty surrounding the incident, the second confirms how John was the victim of the shooting whilst the third confirms how he died as a result of his injuries.
In Ringo's room we've added a rare pair of his custom ‘ProMark’ drum sticks signed by Ringo himself on December 10th, 1997. They were signed in a Los Angeles recording studio in between recording songs for his 1998 album ‘Vertical Man’.
