You absolutely must book a ticket in advance! They then assign you a time slot. Unfortunately, I didn't have one, so I couldn't visit.

Absolutely loved this - audio on headphones was really good. The cavern has been recreated and there is a lot of info on all Beatles and Epstein and those early members who left before they found fame Had a snack lunch in the cafe - there is a big shop selling all the usual t shirts etc If you are a baby boomer you will love this

Simply magical! My second visit and just as much fun as before! How can you go to Liverpool without stopping at this museum, which presents the entire history of the Beatles in such a fun way! The atmosphere and the sets are incredible and will literally immerse you in the world of these four musicians!

A pleasant surprise Its fair to say that we didnt really know what to expect as the tickets were a gift. Its clearly a major tourist attraction based on the number of people milling around outside, but it became clear once inside that the timed entrances meant that the place didnt get too busy. Make sure you pick up the free audio guides as even though each display has plenty of reading materials, the audio guide gives supplementary info and also some film clips. It follows the band from the beginning to their breakup and touches on the solo careers. If you're going to take it all in, you'll need 1.5 to 2 hours.
