Beatles Story event raises money for childrens cancer charity

£2300 raised for CHICS charity

A Beatles Story fundraising event has raised over £2300 for Liverpool-based charity CHICS, who support local families living with childhood cancer.

The Beatles Story Museum hosted a special charity fundraiser in support of CHICS (Children’s Cancer Support), raising an incredible £2,313.44 to help families affected by childhood cancer.

Guests enjoyed an unforgettable evening, including a welcome drink, a guided highlights tour of the museum, and live music performances from Beatles Story and Strawberry Field team members. The Cavern Club‘s Beatles Complete took to the stage, alongside other talented musicians, creating a night filled with music and generosity.

A raffle and prize giveaway, hosted by InDemand Radio‘s Claire Simmo, added to the excitement, with all proceeds going directly to CHICS.

Established in 1986, CHICS provides vital support to children diagnosed with cancer and their families, offering a community where parents can share experiences and access much-needed resources. The funds raised will help the charity continue its invaluable work with the 350 families they currently support.

The Beatles Story extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, donated, and contributed to making the event such a success. 🎸💛
