Voting Now Open as The Beatles Story is Shortlisted for Sustainability Award

The world-renowned Liverpool attraction is celebrating its first-ever nomination for an award dedicated specifically to sustainability, recognising the progress made through a range of initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact and promoting more sustainable operations.

The nomination follows The Beatles Story’s recent achievement of Gold Accreditation from Green Tourism, which reflects the organisation’s dedication to embedding sustainability across its business and visitor experience.

Mary Chadwick, General Manager at The Beatles Story, said:

“We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for the Sustainability Award at The Guide Liverpool Heroes Awards 2026. This is particularly meaningful as it is our first award nomination focused specifically on sustainability, and it represents an important milestone on our green journey.

The winner of the Sustainability Award will be decided through a public vote, which is open until midnight on Sunday 11 October 2026.

The Beatles Story is encouraging visitors, supporters, partners and members of the public to cast their vote and help bring the award home to Liverpool’s award-winning attraction.

Whatever the outcome, being recognised as a finalist represents a proud achievement for The Beatles Story and highlights the organisation’s continued commitment to building a more sustainable future.
